Ala-Archa National Park is the perfect destination for a one-day trip from Bishkek. The mountain range offers picnics, horse-ride, and hiking courses. The park shows beautiful seasonal scenery, such as colorful flowers in spring; the contrast of green fields and blue sky in summer; yellow birch groves in autumn; snow-capped white mountains and crystal-clear frozen waterfall in winter. Experienced hikers should visit Ak-Sai Glacier located at an altitude of 3,500 m. The scenery is magnificent. The world of ice and stone arouses you a sense of indefinite time. It must be an unforgettable memory. 

Kegeti Gorge & Kol-Tor Lake

Kegeti Gorge is one of the best spots for mountain lovers. An iconic waterfall is accessible by car from Bishkek. Surrounded by nature, you can enjoy hiking, camping, and horse riding with birds singing. If you have enough time and energy, it is highly recommended to climb up to beautiful Kol-Tor Lake. The turquoise lake in the middle of the mountains attracts your eyes stunningly. In the magnificent scenery, take photogenic pictures, sail on a boat, rest with tea or coffee, and/or stay in a camp under the sky full of stars. The way to the lake is challenging, but worthy of it.
